Michigan MABAS Division 3705 coordinates Fire, EMS, and Special Operations mutual aid mobilization and deployment during emergencies and disasters. Special Operations include a validated Type III Hazmat Company and Confined Space and Rope Rescue Companies.

Mission
Coordinated mutual aid for effective emergency response
MABAS Division 3705 incorporates Grand Traverse County Fire and EMS departments including Traverse City Fire Department, Grand Traverse Metro Emergency Services Authority, Blair Township Emergency Services, Green Lake Township Emergency Services, Whitewater Township Fire Department, Long Lake Township Fire Department, Paradise Emergency Services, Peninsula Township Fire Department, East Bay EMS, Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport, and Mobile Medical Response. Our division coordinates resource requests, mobilization, and incident support across participating departments to respond both in and outside of our division.
Through standardized procedures and interoperable communications, the division helps ensure the right resources arrive safely, quickly, and in an organized manner—whether for routine incidents or large-scale events.
